As the year comes to a close, I’ve been diving into my own reflection practices—journaling, mapping where to "lean in," and reviewing the strategic priorities that guide my work. These practices always reveal something powerful, but this year, they’ve illuminated a clear truth: it’s time to realign my work with what truly brings me joy and impact.
Through speaking engagements, planning workshops, and facilitating professional development for leaders this year, I’ve felt deeply energized. I used to think this was just my zone of excellence—something I was skilled at but might deplete me over time. But what I’ve discovered is that it’s not just my zone of excellence—it’s my zone of fulfillment.
What I love most is guiding people through learning. Those "aha" moments, where everything clicks, are where I feel most alive. Whether it’s in a room full of leaders discovering new strategies or an intimate retreat where the space allows for deep connection and breakthroughs, these experiences remind me why I do this work.
This reflection has inspired me to take action: Nu Balance Consulting’s services are evolving. Starting in 2025, I’m reorganizing my offerings to center on what I love most:

2️⃣ Professional Development & Training (Signature Service): This will be the heart of what I do—customized training programs, workshops, and retreats that guide leaders and teams through deeper learning and transformation.
3️⃣ Coaching for Senior Leaders & Teams: Coaching will remain an integral part of my work, offered as a premium service for those ready to dive into strategic, equity-focused leadership development.
I’m excited to lean into this shift because it feels aligned with who I am as an educator, strategist, and facilitator of change. I’ve learned that when you follow what lights you up, it doesn’t just benefit you—it creates the energy and inspiration your clients need to thrive.
